JANET BALL She came. She saw. She stayed! Janet Ball has pursued a variety of career opportunities over the past three decades all of them at Labette Health. Now, 33 years later, she's a vice president overseeing Patient Care Services, and she's still happy with the path she chose. "I first worked at Labette Health as a student nurse and was impressed with the facility and services provided. Hospital staff and physicians were very supportive of new graduates. Labette Health was by far the best choice when compared to other facilities in the area." Even when she was in school in the '60s , Labette Health was known for offering upward mobility, diverse challenges and the kind of interaction with people that Janet has always enjoyed. And that reputation still stands today. As she pursued more education, Labette Health covered Janet's tuition as well. The challenges of her job associated with today's health care environment combined with the working relationships among the Labette Health staff are what Janet enjoys most about her job. Having the opportunity to meet those challenges in a state-of-the-art facility is what she enjoys most about working at Labette Heatlh. "Labette Health has many strengths.
