Food Services

The Nutrition Service Professionals at Labette Health offer a variety of inpatient and outpatient services. Our kitchen is designed to meet the nutrition needs of hospital patients, as well as Meals-On-Wheels participants. Additionally, our on-site cafeteria offers meal service to staff and visitors as well as catering services to groups utilizing meeting space in the hospital.

Cafeteria Services
The cafeteria is located on the south end of the first floor. Vending machines are located just outside the back cafeteria entrance.

• M-S Breakfast 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
• M-S Lunch 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• M-F Dinner 4:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
• Sat & Sun Grab-N-Go only after 2:00 p.m.

Cafe open for a la carte and grab-n-go selections between meal service hours.

The clinic staff includes a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Certified Dietary Managers. The staff members work with our doctors and nurses to provide appropriate therapeutic diets, which can be the first step in improving one's overall health status and which can also help to manage numerous diseases and physical conditions.

In addition to our inpatient services, we offer outpatient nutritional education and counseling in a variety of diet related areas. For more information, please call 620-820-5482 and ask to speak to the program assistant of Nutritional Services.

Special Occasions
Birthday/Anniversary Cakes as a special service to our patients, the Food & Nutrition Department will provide individual birthday or anniversary cakes for our patients. Please notify your nurse if your special day falls during your hospitalization.

New Parents
Parents of newborns at Labette Health receive a complimentary "Congratulations" dinner during Mom's and baby's stay in our "Great Expectations" birthing unit.
