Safety Policies

Smoking
Labette Health is a smoke free facility. This policy has been established for the safety and well-being of all patients, guests, and employees. Smoking is not permitted inside the medical center building. We thank you for your cooperation.

Employee Identification
All employees and volunteers at Labette Health are required to wear a photo identification badge while on duty. The badges are white with a blue LC on them and contain the employee's photograph, name, title, and number.

Emergency Drills
There may be a drill or test for fire, tornado or disaster safety while you are here. These are scheduled at various times. Please do not be disturbed if you see or hear evidence of such a practice drill. If you notice a fire or potential fire, immediately notify a staff member or call the hospital operator by dialing "O". Please follow the instructions you may be given by staff members. We care about our patients and visitors safety.
